Spirit of ‘Sewa’ Shines as Army, NDRF, and locals unite for flood relief
Ferozepur, September 2, 2025: In a swift and coordinated response to the devastating floods caused by incessant rainfall, the Indian Army's Golden Arrow Division has been at the forefront of ongoing rescue and relief efforts in Ferozepur and the surrounding areas. Working in close coordination with the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the Civil Administration, the combined teams have successfully rescued hundreds of people and provided critical aid to affected communities.
The troops of the Golden Arrow Division have been working tirelessly, wading through strong currents and deploying specialized boats and life-saving equipment to reach distressed individuals.
The rescue operations have so far resulted in the rescue of hundreds of individuals, including children, the elderly, and women, from submerged villages and isolated areas.
The integrated approach of the rescue teams has been crucial in maximizing the reach and effectiveness of the relief efforts.
