Teachers, social workers launch ‘Each One Adopt One’ to support students in border areas
Ferozepur, September 10, 2025: To ensure that the education of students from flood-affected border areas does not suffer due to their families’ poor economic condition, an appeal has been made to provide essential support. Along with stationery, school bags, and other necessary items, it is crucial to cover the board examination fees of needy students studying in Classes 10 and 12.
Deputy DEO Dr. Satinder Singh has appealed to teachers and social workers to come forward with a sense of social responsibility. He urged that each teacher or social worker adopt at least one student to ensure no child is forced to drop out due to financial hardship.
Notably, teachers of Government School, Gatti Rajo Ke, have already initiated this noble campaign under the slogan “Each One Adopt One”. Others are encouraged to coordinate with flood-affected schools and join this mission to safeguard children’s education.
