Neeru Bajwa sponsors Board Exam Fees for border-area students through Hambla Foundation
Ferozepur, September 29, 2025: Renowned Punjabi actress Neeru Bajwa, in collaboration with Hambla Foundation, has paid the board examination fees for students of several flood-affected border villages near Hussainiwala.
At a special event held in Government School Gatti Rajo Ke, the foundation fulfilled Bajwa’s earlier promise to support students of Government School Khundar Gatti, SBS Model School Bhane Wala, and KR School Hazara Singh Wala. The initiative aims to ease the financial burden on families devastated by recent floods.
The program was attended by Deputy DEO Dr Satinder Singh, Santosh Thitte, Inderjit Nikku, Dr Surjit Singh Sidhu, Jagdeep Warring, Gama Sidhu, noted director Jatinder Mohar, Sandhu Surjit, PK, Tarlochan Musafir, Kanwaljit Kaur, Rishi Rahin, and Arshdeep Dhillon, among others.
Speaking on Neeru Bajwa’s behalf, Santosh Thitte assured continued support for the education and welfare of children in the region. Dr Satinder Singh expressed gratitude to the Hambla Foundation for its ongoing service, which also includes providing fodder for livestock, medicines, rations, and assistance to farmers whose crops were destroyed.
Hambla Foundation volunteers reiterated their commitment to stand with flood-affected families and to work tirelessly with other organisations to help rehabilitate the affected villages.
