Tarn Taran (Punjab), October 13, 2025: Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu on Sunday ruled out any possibility of an alliance between the BJP and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD).
Bittu said the BJP will contest all 117 seats independently in the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections, making it clear that the party will not align with “those responsible for sacrilege incidents.”
He further emphasized that there will be no talks or compromise with drug dealers or those involved in sacrilege cases, adding that the BJP’s fight is for a clean and corruption-free Punjab.
Confident about the party’s performance, Bittu also claimed victory in the Tarn Taran by-election, asserting that people have rejected divisive and corrupt politics.
“We will never compromise with those who disrespected our Gurus. BJP will contest alone and bring a new chapter in Punjab’s politics,” said Bittu.
