Chandigarh, October 17, 2025: The Department of RISE, CGC Landran, has launched an extensive awareness campaign under the Viksit Bharat Buildathon, a flagship innovation challenge initiated by the Ministry of Education and NITI Aayog. The initiative aims to motivate and mobilize young innovators across the nation toward achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047—a self-reliant, technologically advanced, and inclusive India.
As part of the campaign, ten teams from ACIC RISE Association, CGC Landran, visited ten districts across Punjab—Mohali, Fatehgarh Sahib, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ropar, Sangrur, Ludhiana, Moga, Patiala, and Mansa—to engage with students and budding innovators. The outreach focused on encouraging participation in the Buildathon and channeling youthful creativity toward solving real-world challenges aligned with national priorities.
During the interactive sessions, students were introduced to the Buildathon’s structure and core objectives, which rest on four key pillars—Atmanirbhar Bharat, Samriddh Bharat, Swadeshi, and Vocal for Local. The sessions included detailed presentations, live demonstrations, and discussions on idea generation, prototype design, and developing impactful innovations.
Participants also learned about the Buildathon’s ₹1 Crore prize pool, distributed among district, state, and national-level winners—offering a unique platform for students to showcase their innovations at a national level.
The outreach drive was led by a dedicated team of faculty members and mentors from CGC Landran, including Er. Sonia Jindal, Er. Jaspreet Kaur, Er. Satwinder Singh, Dr. Sudhir, Mr. Nikhil Verma, Mr. Jatinder Singh, Mr. Manish, Er. Charanpreet, Ms. Komal, Dr. Shelly, Prof. (Dr.) Dinesh Arora, Ms. Nitika, Er. Kartikay, Dr. Deepika, Mr. Sagar, Er.
