Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir), November 10, 2025: In a major breakthrough, the Jammu and Kashmir Police, in a joint operation with Faridabad Police, has busted an inter-state and transnational terror module linked to banned outfits Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH).
During the coordinated raids, security forces recovered around 2,900 kilograms of IED-making material, along with a large cache of arms and ammunition. Seven individuals, including two doctors, were arrested for their alleged involvement in facilitating the terror network.
According to police officials, one of the doctors arrested from Faridabad had earlier been found in possession of arms and explosives. Authorities said the module was part of a larger network supplying weapons and explosives to terrorist groups operating in the region.
Terming it a major success, officials said the operation has dealt a significant blow to terror groups attempting to spread violence in Jammu and Kashmir. Investigations are underway to trace other associates and cross-border links.
