Tarn Taran (Punjab), November 10, 2025: On the eve of polling for the Tarn Taran Assembly by-election, Punjab Transport Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Laljit Singh Bhullar appealed to voters to support the AAP government’s vision of development, honesty, and a corruption-free Punjab under Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s leadership.
Bhullar said the Mann government has introduced unprecedented transparency and people-centric reforms over the past three and a half years, particularly in the transport sector.
“From ending the decades-old transport mafia to ensuring free bus travel for women, CM Bhagwant Mann’s leadership has brought real change that empowers every section of society,” he said.
Highlighting key achievements, Bhullar noted that the crackdown on illegal bus operations run by political mafias not only restored order in the transport system but also boosted government revenue.
“This election is not just about one candidate—it’s a choice between decades of corruption and honest governance,” Bhullar said. “Vote for the party that delivers results, not rhetoric.”
Polling for the Tarn Taran by-election will take place tomorrow (November 11), with 15 candidates in the fray representing major parties including AAP, Congress, SAD, and BJP.
