Modern Educational Portal ‘ApnaAI’ launched in Ferozepur to boost digital learning in Govt schools
Ferozepur, March 3, 2026: Marking a significant step towards digital transformation in education, a modern academic portal, “jkgakhar.in” ‘ApnaAI’, was officially launched for government schools in Ferozepur. Developed to meet the learning needs of the 21st century, the portal aims to strengthen digital education and enhance academic resources for both students and teachers across Punjab.
The portal was inaugurated under the guidance of District Education Officer (Secondary Education), Munila Arora, along with Dy. DEO Dr Satinder Singh and Headmaster Gurpreet Singh of Government High School, Sodhi Nagar.
Speaking on the occasion, Munila Arora highlighted the importance of technology-driven education in today’s competitive era. She said that such initiatives would prove to be milestone efforts in preparing students for modern challenges and promoting digital learning in government schools.
Dy. DEO Dr Satinder Singh emphasized that education should focus on conceptual understanding rather than rote learning. He noted that interactive platforms like ApnaAI would encourage self-learning, improve technical skills and raise awareness about cyber security among students.
Headmaster Gurpreet Singh expressed pride that the portal was developed by Jatinder Kumar Gakhar, Computer Faculty at Government High School, Sodhi Nagar. He stated that the platform would benefit students not only in Ferozepur but across Punjab.
During the event, Jatinder Kumar Gakhar shared insights into the objectives and features of the portal, explaining that it has been designed to address the daily academic needs of teachers and students.
Key features of the portal include bilingual study material in Punjabi and English, video lectures and presentations, dedicated sections for coding and typing practice, game-based learning modules, an instant “Paper Generator” tool for creating question papers within seconds, daily updates on Artificial Intelligence and cyber security, online quizzes and interactive learning resources.
