Former SGPC CA arrested in 328 Sacred Saroops Case

Amritsar (Punjab), January 1, 2026:In a major development in the case related to 328 sacred Saroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, the Punjab Police have arrested Satinder Singh Kohli, former Chief Accountant (CA) of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC).
According to Amritsar Police, a case has been registered against Kohli along with 16 other individuals in connection with the matter. The arrest marks a significant step in the ongoing investigation into the handling and accountability of the sacred Saroops.
Police officials said further investigation is underway to ascertain the role of the accused and identify additional links in the case.
