Adding to her impressive record, she also clinched two gold medals at the 8th Mayank Sharma Memorial Badminton Tournament held in December 2025.
The Foundation stated that the initiative to honour young badminton talent began last year with the felicitation of Manya Ralhan and has now become an annual tradition. Under this programme, promising shuttlers are honoured every year during the Mayank Sharma Memorial Badminton Tournament to motivate and support their sporting journey.
Mayank Foundation also congratulated Japleen’s parents, Smt. Puneet Kaur and Jagandeep Singh, and her coach, Mandeep Singh, for their constant support and guidance. Secretary Rajiv Setia said promoting young achievers remains a core mission of the Foundation.
