Deputy Commissioner Barnala Mr. T. Benith presided over the meeting regarding the celebration of the District Level Republic Day. On this occasion, he informed that the district level function regarding 26th January (Republic Day) will be organized here at Baba Kala Mehar Stadium.
On this occasion, he gave instructions to various departments including Agriculture Department, Sports Department, Forest, Health, and Education regarding the tableaux. Apart from this, guidelines were issued regarding the decoration of all the squares of the city, stage duties, and distribution of prizes.
Instructions were given to the concerned departments to complete all the preparations for the cultural and patriotic program to be held on this occasion. Also, duties were assigned regarding the march past, flag hoisting ceremony, etc. He directed that proper arrangements be made for the students participating in the function.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Amit Bambi, Sub Divisional Magistrate Barnala Ajit Pal Singh and heads of other departments, officers/employees were present.
