15 Special Educators join to empower Divyang students in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, January 21, 2026: Appointment letters to 15 newly recruited special educators in Ferozepur district were handed over by District Education Officer (Secondary) Sunita Rani, distributed in line with the Punjab Government's initiatives, guided by Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains and the School Education Department.
This move underscores the state's dedication to delivering inclusive and high-quality education to differently-abled (divyang) students. The selections and postings were conducted transparently based on merit, ensuring that schools receive specialized support suited to the unique needs of children with disabilities.
While congratulating the new recruits, DEO Sunita Rani highlighted the crucial role special educators’ play in unlocking the potential of divyang students. She encouraged them to fulfill their roles with utmost commitment, empathy, and adherence to official guidelines.
The addition of these educators is expected to significantly enhance the learning atmosphere in Ferozepur's schools, promoting better integration of divyang children into regular classrooms and helping them achieve their aspirations.
