Aam Aadmi Party Amritsar city district president and Chairmanof PUNSUP Prabhbir Singh Brar issued a press statement and said that on January 22, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal launched the Chief Minister's Health Insurance Scheme, which ensures free treatment of up to Rs 10 lakh annually for every family in Punjab.

Prabhbir Singh Brar said that under this historic health scheme, no income slab or caste-based condition has been kept. Every citizen of Punjab will be entitled to this health insurance card without any discrimination. He said that AAP volunteers will go door to door to inform people about this scheme and distribute slips related to the health insurance card.
All these cards will be made free-of-cost by the government and not a single rupee will be charged from anyone. If any center charges money, then you all can bring this matter to the attention of the Aam Aadmi Party district office.
Brar said that this step by the Punjab government will prove to be a historic milestone in the health sector, which will provide great relief to the poor and middle class families. Now no one will have to leave their treatment incomplete due to the fear of expensive treatment.
He further said that the Aam Aadmi Party government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is strengthening the health, education and basic facilities of the people of the state on priority basis and this health insurance scheme is a big step towards making Punjab healthy and prosperous.
