China String Tragedy: Woman killed while riding scooter in Ludhiana

Ludhiana (Punjab), January 26, 2026: Despite a ban on the use and sale of Chinese kite string in Punjab, the deadly thread continues to claim lives. After a recent incident in Samrala, another tragic case has been reported from Ludhiana, where a woman lost her life after her throat was slit by China string.
According to information, the woman was riding a scooter to the market for shopping when she suddenly came into contact with the sharp kite string stretched across the road. The string caused severe injuries to her neck.
Bystanders rushed the critically injured woman to a hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries while being taken for treatment. T
