Sukhbir Badal reaches DGP office, dares police to register case against him

Chandigarh, February 5, 2026: Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal today reached Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav’s office in Sector 9 Chandigarh, along with members of the core committee.
Talking to DGP Yadav he said that police should stop harassment of his accountants and their families in 328 missing Saroop case and instead an FIR should be registered against him directly. He said that he will not move from the officer until such an FIR is registered.
Akali workers have also started dharna outside police headquarters.
