CM Bhagwant Mann to Skip Moga Event Today; Kejriwal, Cheema & Dr Balbir Singh to Address Meeting

Chandigarh/Moga: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will not attend the state-level meeting of Village Defence Committees scheduled to be held in Moga today, as he was admitted to hospital yesterday for medical observation.He is likely to be kept under observation today also.
Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh and other party leaders will address the gathering in his absence.
The important state-level meeting is being organised under the ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh 2.0’ (War Against Drugs 2.0) campaign. The programme will take place in village Killi Chahlan in Moga district.
The event is considered significant in the state government’s ongoing drive to strengthen grassroots action against drug abuse in Punjab.
