Chandigarh, February 26, 2026:
Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address the Bharatiya Janata Party’s ‘Badlav Rally’ in Moga on March 14. The announcement was made by Ashwani Sharma, Working President of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Punjab.
Addressing mediapersons in Chandigarh, Sharma said that the people of Punjab have made up their mind to bring a change by rejecting the Aam Aadmi Party government, which he described as having failed on all fronts. He alleged that under Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the state has witnessed deteriorating law and order, rampant corruption, growing influence of mafias, and a collapse of health and education systems.
Sharma claimed that the AAP government has backtracked on its election guarantees, failed to ensure MSP for farmers, and left employees and pensioners struggling due to delayed payments. He further alleged that crime, extortion, and gang violence have increased across Punjab, while basic infrastructure like roads remains neglected.
Expressing confidence ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections, Sharma said the people of Punjab would opt for a “double-engine government” led by the BJP to put the state back on the path of development.
