  Chandigarh, March 4, 2026: Former Punjab Chief Secretary KD Vasudev who had opposed Operation Blue Star is no more. He was 94.
  
  Vasudeva was a 1956 batch Punjab Cadre IAS Officer who remained Chief Secretary from 1982 to 1985. He died at Vadodra in Gujarat where he was visiting his daughter and 1995 batch Gujarat cadre IAS officer Vatsala Vasudev.
