  Jammu, March 12, 2026: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah survived a murder attack yesterday when a man with pistol attacked him from point blank range. Alert security guards overpowered the attackers.
  
  Later attacked told police that he had wanted to kill Abdullah since last 20 years.
