  Chandigarh, March 23, 2026: The Punjab government has reassigned the portfolios of former minister Laljit Singh Bhullar, with Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann now taking charge of the Transport and Jails departments.
  
  An official gazette notification has been issued announcing the change.
  
  Bhullar was earlier handling the Transport and Jails portfolios, which have now been transferred to the Chief Minister following recent developments.
