Gurpreet Ghuggi breaks the silence on viral allegations, moves Cyber complaint

Chandigarh, March 27, 2026: Punjabi actor and comedian Gurpreet Ghuggi has strongly dismissed a series of allegations circulating online, calling them “completely false and fabricated” and accusing certain individuals of deliberately trying to damage his reputation.
The controversy stems from claims made by a Canada-based YouTuber, who alleged that Ghuggi had given ₹5 crore to an actress and was involved in an alleged relationship with her.
The claims further suggested that the actress became pregnant, allegations Ghuggi has categorically denied.
Addressing the issue, Ghuggi said he has spent over three decades building his career through hard work and integrity. “My identity has been shaped by honesty and my work. I am not under any pressure, nor will I be influenced by such baseless narratives,” he said.
He also highlighted the emotional toll such rumours can have, not just on him but on those around him. Taking a firm stand, Ghuggi confirmed that he has filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Department and is prepared to pursue legal action if required.
In a poetic message aimed at his critics, he remarked that attempts are being made to harm his image without any truth, but asserted that he will not bow down to such tactics.
Reiterating his life philosophy of “Charddi Kala,” Ghuggi said he remains positive and continues to move forward with the support of his well-wishers. He also expressed gratitude to sections of the media for verifying facts before reporting and reaching out to him for clarity.
The actor has made it clear that he intends to take the matter to its logical conclusion, maintaining that all allegations against him are entirely unfounded.
