Minister Sanjeev Arora visits Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities’ Rajpura facility, highlights Punjab’s industrial growth

Chandigarh/Rajpura, 28 March 2026:Punjab Cabinet Minister for Industries & Commerce, Investment Promotion, Power and Local Government, Sanjeev Arora, visited the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility of Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities Ltd. at Rajpura on Saturday, reaffirming the government’s commitment to boosting industrial development and investor confidence in the state.
Established in 2018 on a 32-acre campus, the Rajpura facility has a monthly production capacity of 6,200 tonnes and employs over 2,000 workers, including more than 350 women. Plans are underway to construct a dedicated hostel for female employees, promoting inclusive industrial growth.
Mrs. Bectors, a leading name in India’s food processing sector, reported sales of around ₹2,100 crore in 2026. The company manufactures biscuits, breads, bakery items, and frozen foods across nine plants nationwide, exporting to over 70 countries and serving more than 5.5 lakh retail outlets via a network of 900 distributors. It holds over 14% market share in Punjab, making it the second-largest biscuit manufacturer in the state.
During the visit, Minister Arora toured specialised manufacturing units, appreciating the automation, quality standards, and safety protocols maintained at the facility.
Managing Director Anoop Bector praised Punjab’s industrial ecosystem and Minister Arora’s leadership, noting that the company’s continued investments would strengthen its domestic and international market presence.
Minister Arora reiterated that under the leadership of National Convener Arvind Kejriwal and CM Bhagwant Mann, Punjab is committed to providing a business-friendly environment, world-class infrastructure, and policy support to facilitate industrial expansion and attract new investments.
The visit was attended by PRTC Vice Chairman Balwinder Singh Jharwan, SDM Naman, GM DIC Arshdeep, EO Avatar, and senior management of Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities.
