Driver of goods train informed about blast: Shashi Prabha Dwivedi Special DGP (Railway)

Shambhu, April 28, 2026: Driver of a goods trains which passed through accident site informed authorities about something wrong and after which GRP personnel and other officers reached the spot.
Speaking to media at accident site, She said that blast occurred around 8.30 PM-8.45 PM and officers reached the site shortly after 9.00 PM.
She said that blast was with such an intensity that goods train driver felt that something was wrong.
She also disclosed that Jagroop Singh parked his motor cycle at Amritsar and reached here by train or bus.
