Teachers turn ‘Future-Ready’ at District-Level Workshop on Computational Thinking & AI
Ferozepur, April 30, 2026: A district-level discussion and workshop on Computational Thinking (CT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) was successfully organized at DC Model Senior Secondary School with the aim of equipping teachers with modern educational tools and enhancing their knowledge base.
Held under the CBSE district initiative, the workshop brought together educators from various schools, providing a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, meaningful dialogue, and professional development.

The program was conducted under the leadership of Principal and CBSE City Coordinator Yachna Chawla, who emphasized that in today’s digital era, it is essential for teachers to stay connected with emerging technologies to better prepare students for future challenges.
The workshop witnessed the participation of distinguished members of the Appreciation Committee, including Dr. Sandeep Singh Sandhu, Senior Machine Learning Engineer; Dr. Sunny Bahl, Associate Professor and Head of the Computer Science Department; and Principal Kuldeep Singh. The experts highlighted the growing significance of AI and Computational Thinking in education and shared practical insights with the participants.
Teachers from different schools actively contributed by presenting informative sessions on various aspects of CT and AI. The sessions sparked engaging discussions, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and collaborative learning among participants.
