Here’s what Speaker Sandhwan said after appearing before Sri Akal Takth

Amritsar (Punjab), May 8, 2026: After appearing before Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan on Friday said apprehensions and concerns regarding certain provisions of the recently enacted Anti-Sacrilege law can be addressed by making suitable changes in its rules.
The Speaker made the remarks after meeting Akal Takht Jathedar Kuldeep Singh Gargaaj at the Akal Takht secretariat to clarify the Punjab government’s position on the “Jagat Jyot Sri Guru Granth Sahib Satkar Act.”
