  New Delhi, May 10, 2026: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will chair a high-level meeting in New Delhi today to review the country’s preparedness to deal with possible floods and heatwaves.
  
  He will assess readiness of Central Government agencies, review early warning systems, resource deployment and inter-agency coordination to ensure zero loss of life and minimal loss of property.
