Ferozepur, May 1 : Barring few incidents of manhandling, injuring, the Lok Sabha elections in the district had completed successfully. However, an incident of casting forged vote has come to notice. As per the information, Sadar Police Station, Ferozepur have lodged a case against Roshan for casting forged vote at Village Peer Ahmed Khan. According to Yadwinder Singh, SHO, Sadar Police Station, Deepak Kumar, who was performing his duty as Presiding Officer in the booth, noticed that his voter I-card was not matching and he was restrained from casting vote following an objection raised by the Poll Agent. However, he was immediately apprehended by the security staff and later an official complaint was lodged under section 171 F, following the statements made by Deepak Kumar, PO.
