Scheme to promote energy conservation started by HAREDA

A unique scheme of State Energy Conservation Awards has been started by Haryana New and Renewable Energy Department and HAREDA. Under this scheme, applications have been invited from eligible consumers of various categories for the year 2021-22. The last date to apply is June 20.
Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that industrial, commercial, government, institutional group residential buildings located in the state of Haryana have been awarded State Energy Conservation Awards for taking best measures in the field of energy conservation, adopting technology and achieving energy efficiency.
In addition, innovations/ new technologies/ R&D projects including innovative promotional projects, research and innovation in energy conservation, energy efficiency, waste to energy and renewable energy sectors, institutions doing best in efficient natural resource, state energy can apply for conservation award. Cash, shield and certificate are being given as awards.
The spokesperson said that a copy of the guidelines of the scheme is available on the website of HAREDA. For more information about the application, the New and Renewable Energy Department in the district can be contacted on any working day.
