Maha Bhandara organises to mark Mahashivratri

Panchkula, February 19, 2023: To coincide with Mahashivaratri celebrations, a Maha-Bhandara, or Grand Community Kitchen was organized here by an NGO -Shri Shyam Karuna Foundation, wherein hundreds of needy people from the surrounding areas along with their families received the benefit of free food.
The Bhandara was arranged in a mobile van to facilitate the easy distribution of food.
Amitabh Rungta, Sevadar of Shri Shyam Karuna Foundation, said, “This was our 47th Bhandara, dedicated to Lord Shiva, in the course of continuous service.
Lord Shiva is called the preserver, that's why we organized Bhandara on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri. The satisfaction one gets from feeding a hungry soul is incomparable.”
Anupama Rungta, Chaitanya Rungta, Pragati Rungta, Deepali Rungta, Sukhpal Singh, Himanshu, Mohan, Nidhi, etc. distributed food at the Bhandara. Amitabh Rungta is of the view that helping the needy is an act of dharma.
