Ludhiana, May 28, 2024: Ravneet Bittu, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Ludhiana, continues to garner support from various communities, with the Christian community now joining in his backing.
A meeting was organized where Bittu was joined by former Union Minister Vijay Sampla, Samuel Sidhu, Samuel Charan, Pargat Masih, Michael Masih and others.
In his address, Ravneet Bittu expressed gratitude to the Christian community for their support, emphasizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of uniting society.
He highlighted that India’s strength lies in its diversity, likening the nation to a bouquet of different flowers coexisting harmoniously.
Bittu pointed out the past incidents involving the killing of Christian preachers and pastors in Punjab, expressing concern over the state’s current Law and order situation.
He assured the community that the BJP is committed to providing a safe environment for all and is dedicated to national security and development. He criticized the existing economic woes of Punjab, stressing that governments cannot function on debt alone. Solid policies and a peaceful environment are crucial for boosting business and overall state prosperity.
Bittu urged voters to support the BJP in the upcoming elections, highlighting the importance of aligning with the central government. He argued that the Akali Dal, Congress, and AAP have repeatedly failed Punjab over the past 15-20 years. Instead, he called for making Punjab a partner in the central government to lift the state out of financial distress and enable it to stand on its own feet. Bittu concluded by encouraging the electorate to vote for the BJP’s lotus symbol on June 1 for a brighter future.
