Tarn Taran, March 16, 2021: A few days ago, a disturbing incident that came to light shook the entire nation especially the animal lovers after a vegetable vendor in Mumbai was caught assaulting a stray dog on camera.
The brutality was recorded by a volunteer of an animal rights organization Bombay Animal Rights who submitted the proof to the police following the arrest was made by DN Nagar Police Station.
The vegetable vendor Ahmed Shahi who has now been arrested has been found torturing several dogs. The ongoing police investigation has revealed that Ahmed has molested around 30 dogs.
The incident has been strongly condemned by social media users. Several animal rights NGOs have also urged the concerned government authorities to ensure the safety of animals.
