Swastik Singhal , Aaditya Pajni and Samarth Kapoor win chess titles

Swastik Singhal with 5.5 points in the under 15 category, Aaditya Pajni and Samarth Kapoor with 5.5 points in under 9 category emerged as Champions in the 9th Chandigarh Open Children’s Chess Festival 2023, which concluded today at the Chandigarh Baptist School Sec 45 D, Chandigarh.
The Championship was organised by the Chandigarh Chess Academy. A total of 109 players from different Schools of tri-city and from adjoining states participated in this Championship. 11 International Rated players participated in this championship.
The chief guest at the closing ceremony was Arun Masih Director, Chandigarh Baptist School was the Chief Guest and Louis Lopez, Principal St. Stephen’s School, Sector 45 Chandigarh was the Guest of Honour. The cash prizes along with trophies were distributed among all the prize winners in the closing ceremony.
