  Shimla, June 1, 2026: Himachal Pradesh 1993 batch IAS officer has been given additional charge of Chief Secretary of the state. Sanjay Gupta has retired as Chief Secretary yesterday May 31.
  
  Now department of personnel has sent a panel of five names to Chief Minister Sukhwinder Sukhu for appointment of regular Chief Secretary.
