Chandigarh, August 13, 2025: Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Anil Vij, has criticised the Congress Party in the state, saying it has been functioning without an organisation for the last 11 years and lacks the knowledge to properly form one.
He likened the party’s organisational process to distributing agency rights, rather than holding elections from the local to national level.
Speaking to the media, Vij said, “Now, Congress has appointed district-level presidents, who will next appoint at the local level,” highlighting the party’s unconventional approach to building its structure.
Addressing statements by Pakistan over Indus waters, Vij said India would not be influenced by Pakistan’s hollow threats. He noted that the people of Pakistan are currently facing severe hardships, including rising inflation and shortages of food and essentials.
According to Vij, Pakistani leaders are making such statements to divert attention from domestic issues and maintain public support.
He added, “Just as in Operation Sindoor, Pakistan’s arrogance was crushed and it was taught a lesson, making it come to its senses, the same resolve remains today.”
