  Samrala, October 20, 2025: Liquor bottles worth Rs. 2.89 lakhs were seized from Mehal farms in village Bondli after which suspended DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar was booked under Excise Act. According to a report of The Tribune, FIR regarding this has been registered at Samrala police station on statement of CBI Inspector Romipal.
