  New Delhi, April 2, 2026: Punjab Kesari Group, Jalandhar (M/s Chopra Hotels Private Limited) got interim relief in the Supreme Court.
  
  In a tweet former IAS KBS Sidhu disclosed that in the matter heard on 1 April 2026, senior counsel for the Punjab Government submitted before the Bench comprising Justice Vikram Nath and Justice Sandeep Mehta that no demolition will take place until the Court passes its orders. Dr A.M. Singhvi appeared for the petitioner. The matter is now listed for orders on 8 April 2026.
