Dr. Hitender Kaur Director Health Services inspects Civil Hospital; Focuses on patient care
Ferozepur, April 5, 2026: Director Health Services (Family Welfare) Dr. Hitender Kaur today visited Civil Hospital to review healthcare facilities and patient care arrangements. She was accompanied by Civil Surgeon Dr. Rajeev Parashar, Assistant Civil Surgeon Dr. Sushma Thakkar, Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr. Gurmej Ram, District Immunization Officer Dr. Meenakshi Dhingra, and Senior Medical Officer Dr. Nikhil Gupta.
During the visit, Dr. Kaur inspected various wards and assessed the overall arrangements in the hospital. She also interacted with patients admitted in different wards, including children undergoing treatment for leptospirosis reported from village Hazara Singh Wala, and enquired about their health.
Emphasizing special attention to leptospirosis cases, she directed the medical staff to ensure timely and proper treatment for all patients, particularly children. She also held a meeting with the hospital staff, motivating them to perform their duties diligently and on time.
Dr. Kaur stressed the need to provide quality healthcare services to the public and called for spreading awareness about disease prevention. She further instructed the hospital administration to strengthen sanitation measures, ensure continuous availability of medicines and essential equipment, and provide compassionate care to every patient.
Reiterating the government’s commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services, she directed officials to maintain efficient management and ensure that no negligence occurs in patient care.
