Harmony Ayurvedic College Promotes Awareness Ahead of Ayurveda Day
Ferozepur, September 15, 2025: As part of Ayurveda Week celebrations, Harmony Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, Ferozepur, is hosting a series of academic activities to raise public awareness before Ayurveda Day on September 23.
At SBS College of Nursing, Dr. Sahil Guleria delivered a lecture on “Vocal for Local”, highlighting the significance of Ayurvedic lifestyle, diet, and indigenous medicines while encouraging an eco-friendly way of living.
On September 16, a special session on “Pharmacovigilance, Materiovigilance, and Herbovigilance” was organized in collaboration with PGIMER, Chandigarh. The session, coordinated by Dr. Sahil Guleria (MD, Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana) and Dr. Rashmi (MD, Kayachikitsa), was conducted by Prof. Bikash Medhi (Department of Pharmacology, PGIMER) and Dr. Ajay. Speakers discussed patient safety, drug monitoring, and the challenges of herb vigilance in Ayurveda.
The events aim to promote this year’s theme—“Ayurveda for People and Planet”—and concluded with a collective call to action: “Vocal for Local, Wellness for All!”
