Navjot Khosa's Central Deputation Tenure Extended Until December 2027

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension of central deputation tenure of Navjot Khosa, IAS (Kerala cadre, 2012 batch), under the Central Staffing Scheme.
Khosa is currently serving as Director of Census Operations (DCO) and Director of Citizen Registration (OCR) for Punjab and Chandigarh.
According to the official order, her deputation has been extended beyond March 31, 2026, up to December 31, 2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Earlier in her career, she also served as District Collector of Thiruvananthapuram, where she was associated with key administrative and governance initiatives.
She belongs to Bathinda City in Punjab.
An officer known for her administrative efficiency, Khosa has been overseeing crucial census and citizen registration responsibilities in Punjab and Chandigarh. The extension of her tenure is expected to ensure continuity in ongoing projects and smooth implementation of central assignments.
