Chandigarh, August 12, 2025— Haryana’s Energy, Transport & Labor Minister Anil Vij delivered a strong message today, asserting that India has never yielded to Pakistan’s provocations and never will.
Responding to former Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto’s warning of war if India builds a dam on the Indus River, Vij declared the Indus Water Treaty “over” and called the Indus River “our river,” emphasizing that its waters will be used to quench India’s thirsty fields and people.
Vij further remarked that Pakistan should learn from its defeat in Operation Sindoor. He underscored that India remains firmly focused on protecting the interests of its citizens.
On the political front, Vij criticized the opposition and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Commenting on recent opposition struggles, he likened them to a train with a weak engine at the front, saying, “If the engine is weak, the train will not move.”
He also stated that the public has rejected Rahul Gandhi, urging him to stop attacking constitutional institutions and accept the repeated electoral defeats of his party.
