NIMA Ferozepur unites 425 doctors in a landmark CME on Ayurveda & Panchkarma
NIMA hosts mega CME Program in Ferozepur; Over 425 BAMS doctors participate
Ferozepur, August 26, 2025: The National Integrated Medical Association (NIMA), Ferozepur City Branch, successfully organised a 10-credit Continuing Medical Education (CME) program at the local school. The event witnessed the participation of more than 425 BAMS doctors from across Punjab and featured insightful lectures from leading experts in Ayurveda and Panchakarma.
The program was graced by Dr. Sanjeev Goyal, Registrar, Ayurvedic and Unani System of Medicine, Punjab, and Registrar, Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, Hoshiarpur, as the chief guest. The inaugural session included a welcome address by Ms. Naindeep Kaur and the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony in the presence of dignitaries.
Renowned experts Dr. Monika Sareshtha, Dr. Kuldeep Singh Panwar, and Dr. Anurag Girdhar delivered lectures on Ayurveda and Panchakarma, enriching the knowledge base of participating doctors.
Among the special guests were Dr. Parwinder Bajaj (President, NIMA Punjab), Dr. Anil Nagrath (Secretary, NIMA Punjab), Dr. Rajeev Mehta, Dr. Vishal Bhanot, Dr. Suman Lata (Harmony Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital), Smt. Anuradha Chandel (Principal, DCM Model International School), Dharampal Bansal, and Yogesh Bansal.
The event’s success was attributed to the tireless efforts of Dr. Daljeet Singh (President, NIMA Ferozepur City Branch), Dr. Parveen Goyal (Secretary), Dr. Jasmeet Makkar (Cashier), and Dr. Rajkumar Dhawan (Project Coordinator), along with the support of Dr. Rakesh Grover, Dr. Dolly Dhawan, Dr. Sanjeev Trehan, and other dedicated members.
The CME concluded on a highly positive note, leaving a lasting impact on the medical community by fostering collaboration, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing among Ayurvedic practitioners.
