Promotions of Personal Staff at Punjab Civil Secretariat
Chandigarh, May 8, 2025 - Promotions have been granted to officers of the personal staff cadre working in the Punjab Civil Secretariat, leading to a wave of happiness among the staff. As per orders issued by the Secretariat administration, Manjit Singh and Gulshan Kumar have been promoted from Personal Secretary to Secretary/Minister. Additionally, Harjeet Kaur, Neelam, Gurcharan Singh, Sunita Rani, and Parveen Kumari Garg have been elevated from Personal Assistant to Personal Secretary.
The President of the Punjab Secretariat Personal Staff Association and Sahit Sabha, Malkiat Singh Oujla, extended congratulations to all promoted officers on behalf of the association. He also thanked the Secretariat administration for facilitating these promotions. The promoted officers received congratulations throughout the day.
