Read who claims responsibility of Vicky Middukhera’s murder
Chandigarh, August 7, 2021:
In a viral Facebook post of a page, Davinder Bambhia’s group took responsibility for killing Youth Akali Dal leader Vicky Middukhera, who was shot dead in broad daylight on Saturday in Sector 71 of Mohali.
The post of page ‘Gangster of Punjab’ claimed that Bambhia’s group members killed Middukhera over ‘personal rivalry’. They also claimed that one of their group members Lucky had warned Vicky several times to mind his own business and not to work against him by colluding with anti-party of Lawrence Bishnoi.
“Vicky Middukhera never agreed to our warning and kept on working for our ‘anti-party’. He used to share secret information of our group with Lawrence Bishnoi gang, following which we decided to kill him”, they said in their post.
They also alleged that Middukhera was working with Bishnoi and had helped him in his extortion business by arranging numbers of Punjabi artistes and businessmen. Besides, he was involved in the killing of Gurlal Bhalwan and Rana Kandhowalia, who were reportedly close to Bambiha’s group.
However, the authenticity of the post has not been checked yet and police did not comment anything on that. It is also not clear that who has posted this information on the page. The post went viral within minutes and was later shared in many other pages.
Charanjit Singh Brar, Akali leader, said, “Vicky had no enmity with any group. So, why one should kill him over rivalry.”
