With 25.85 lakh voters, Gurgaon is largest Lok Sabha constituency of Haryana
Sonipat parliamentary constituency seat has the lowest number of 17.77 lakh voters.

Chandigarh, May 20, 2024 - Voting is scheduled for all 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana in the sixth phase of the 18th Lok Sabha general elections on Saturday, May 25, 2024.
Hemant Kumar, Advocate in Punjab and Haryana High Court said that as far as the 10 Lok Sabha constituencies of the state are concerned, on this basis, Gurgaon Lok Sabha constituency is the largest constituency of the state in terms of voters, where according to the latest figures, the total voters are 25 lakh 84 thousand 982.
Although the name of Gurgaon district was changed to Gurugram in the year 2016, but in the context of Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies, it is still called Gurgaon and its name can be changed to Gurugram only after the next delimitation process. Badshahpur assembly constituency falling under Gurugram district has 4 lakh 97 thousand 864 voters and in terms of voters, it is the largest assembly constituency in the state.
After Gurgaon, the second largest Lok Sabha constituency in the state in terms of voters is Faridabad where there are 24 lakh 36 thousand 637 voters. After Faridabad, the third largest Lok Sabha constituency is Karnal where there are 21 lakh 9 thousand 702 voters.
After Karnal, Ambala Lok Sabha constituency is the fourth largest based on voters with 20 lakh 3 thousand 510 voters. After Ambala, the largest Lok Sabha constituency is Sirsa where there are 19 lakh 41 thousand 319 voters.
After Sirsa comes Rohtak Lok Sabha constituency where there are 19 lakh 13 thousand 628 voters. After that is Bhiwani-Mahendragarh Lok Sabha constituency where there are 18 lakh 21 thousand 764 voters. Then after that there is Kurukshetra Lok Sabha constituency where there are 17 lakh 99 thousand 822 voters.
After that comes Hisar Lok Sabha constituency where there are 17 lakh 99 thousand 539 voters. The least number of voters is in Sonipat Lok Sabha constituency which is 17 lakh 77 thousand 8.
According to the latest released official data, the total number of voters in the state is 2 crore 1 lakh 87 thousand 91, of which 1 crore 6 There are 52 lakh 345 male voters while 94 lakh 23 thousand 956 are female voters.
There are 467 transgender voters and 1 lakh 11 thousand 143 service voters across the state. The total number of disabled voters in the state is 1 lakh 50 thousand 277 while the number of overseas voters is 762..
It should be noted that according to the data published on January 22, 2024, based on the eligibility date of January 1, 2024, there were a total of 1 crore 98 lakh 34 thousand 602 voters in Haryana.

Hemant also told that under the Representation of the People Act, after the notification of elections in a state is issued, the process of filing nominations by the candidates which lasts for a week, the nominations can be filed by the candidates till 3 pm on the last day of the same. Similarly, new names can be added in the voter lists till the same date. This is done according to Section 23 (3) of the Public Representation Act, 1950.
