Snake gets into power transformer in Mohali, leads to explosion and outage

Mohali, July 13, 2024: While power outages caused by squirrels or birds are common, the Mohali residents faced with power shutdown after a snake got into the power transformer which led to the explosion and power outages.
A senior official of the Power Corporation told Babushahi that when the transformer was inspected, a snake was found inside it, until the power worker transferred it to the transformer. On reaching and seeing it inside, the snake was dead.
