Chandigarh, May 5, 2025: Police has started campaign to round up farmer leaders in view of their announcement of staging dharna in front of Shambhu Police station tomorrow May 6, 2025.
Police is arresting leaders of Samyukat Kisan Morcha non political and Bharti Kisan Union Dallewal group. According to reports Jagjit Singh Dallewal and Baldev Singh Sirsa have been put under house arrest. Sukhjit Singh Hardo Jhande has been taken to police station Batala. Kulwinder Singh Panjola, Hardev Singh Chitti, Gurpreet Singh Chhina, Angrez Singh Butewala. Shera Athwal, Harwinder Singh Masanian were among those detained.
