Haryana CM Saini launches development projects worth Rs 103.30 crore in Uchana

Chandigarh, February 18, 2026 — Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini today inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of various development projects worth ₹103.31 crore during the Dhanyavad Rally held in Uchana, giving fresh momentum to the development of the Assembly constituency.
The objective of the state government is to strengthen basic infrastructure in every region for the welfare of people.
The Chief Minister inaugurated three development works completed at a cost of ₹28.54 crore. He also laid the foundation stones of two major projects with a total cost of ₹74.77 crore.
Upon completion, these works will significantly improve facilities related to drinking water, irrigation, sports, and sanitation in the area.
Under the Narwana Water Services Division, renovation works of the Sudkain Distributary (RD 56000 to 118000) were inaugurated at a cost of ₹22.32 crore. This includes reconstruction of the off-take at RD 189990/L of the Sirsa Branch along with related infrastructure, which will make the irrigation system stronger and more efficient.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini also inaugurated a multipurpose hall constructed in village Dumerkha Kalan, Block Uchana, at a cost of ₹3.52 crore by the Sports Department.
Additionally, renovation, strengthening, and laying of the remaining pipeline of the water supply scheme in village Sudkain Kalan will be undertaken at a cost of ₹2.70 crore, ensuring clean and adequate drinking water for residents.
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of a project worth ₹43.81 crore under the Mahagram Yojana for strengthening the water supply system and construction of new water works in village Nagura by the Public Health Engineering Department.
He also laid the foundation stone of a sewerage scheme in village Chhatar at a cost of ₹30.95 crore.
