Police arrest 3 habitual offenders, recovery stolen motorcycle and 23 mobiles
Ferozepur, February 20, 2026: The Ferozepur Cantonment Police have arrested three habitual offenders and recovered one stolen motorcycle along with 23 mobile phones during an investigation related to theft and snatching cases.
SSP Bhupinder Singh Sidhu stated that this recovery is the outcome of the campaign against the drug peddlers, unscrupulous persons and anti-social elements involved in criminal activities.
Police officials revealed that all three accused have a long criminal history and are involved in several previous cases registered at Ferozepur Cantt Police Station and other police stations.
According to records, the three accused are involved in multiple criminal cases - Bhola alias Aman in two Arms Act cases of Ferozepur and Fazilka, Vishal in 9 cases – 7 under Railway Act and one under NDPS Act and Rishi in 4 cases under Arms Act and theft-related sections, with cases registered between 2016 and 2024.
Sukhchain Mehta, ASI/SHO Ferozepur Cantt stated that the recovered mobile phones are suspected to be stolen from different locations, and efforts are underway to trace their rightful owners. The recovery is expected to help solve several pending theft and snatching cases in the district.
