Panjab University VC’s Term Extended; All-Women Search Committee Formed

Chandigarh, March 28, 2026: The Vice President of India, in his capacity as the Chancellor of Panjab University, has granted a four-month extension to the current Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Renu Vig.
Simultaneously, a high-level, all-women three-member Search-cum-Selection Committee has been constituted to appoint the next Vice-Chancellor. provide a smooth transition. The committee consists of:
