Senior IAS officer Manisha Rana has officially taken charge as the Managing Director of the Pepsu Road Transport Corporation (PRTC) in Patiala.
The ceremonial handover took place on Monday, with several senior officials, including Additional Managing Director Navdeep Kumar, present to extend their congratulations and support.
Upon assuming her new role, Manisha Rana expressed her commitment to enhancing the quality of services provided by PRTC. She emphasized that continuous efforts would be made to improve facilities for passengers, ensuring a more comfortable and efficient travel experience.
Highlighting her vision for the organization, she stated that steps would be taken in the near future to expand the PRTC fleet with the addition of more buses, aiming to meet the growing transportation needs of the public.
During the occasion, senior officials briefed Rana on the current performance and operations of PRTC. The Managing Director acknowledged their input and underlined her determination to implement innovative strategies to elevate the corporation’s standards.
